How to Make Chocolate Bark
- Prepare the baking sheet: Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt & Spread: Melt 6 oz of chocolate chips, pour onto the parchment, and spread into a thin layer.
- Drizzle & Design: Melt 3 oz of white chocolate and drizzle over the milk chocolate—use a toothpick or knife to swirl fun patterns!
- Decorate: Sprinkle your favorite toppings and add the remaining chocolate chips.
- Set & Break: Refrigerate until firm, then break into bite-sized pieces. Store in an airtight container.
Creative Topping Ideas
- Nutty Crunch: Add chopped almonds, pecans, or peanuts.
- Salty-Sweet: Sprinkle with sea salt for a delicious contrast.
- Festive Flavors: Swap out sprinkles for holiday-themed toppings like crushed peppermint for Christmas or pastel sprinkles for Easter.
It usually sets in 30-60 minutes in the refrigerator. If you’re in a hurry, pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
Absolutely! You can swap vegan chocolate chips for your favorite dark, milk, or white chocolate.
Keep it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or in the fridge for up to two weeks. You can also freeze it for up to 3 months!
If your bark is too soft, it may need more time to chill. Also, try using higher-quality chocolate with a higher cocoa content to help it stay firm.
